How our CSA program Works:
You sign-up for a subscription and receive a fresh, orgaznik produce grown by SongHaven Farm for 20 weeks out of the summer growing season, beginning of June to mid-October. You will have the option to do a custom box of produce, meaning you pick out exactly what you’d like in your box or you can do a farmers choice box and we’ll pick seven to ten items for you. Throughout the season you'll be able to alternate between making a custom share or the farmers choice box. Orders need to be placed by 6pm on Tuesdays.
Shareholders will also be able to add on items such as eggs, jams and jellies, pickles, fermented foods and a goat dairy share. Each week your order will be deducted from the amount you invested into your CSA. If you need or want to skip a week (up to three weeks a season), you will have the choice to put your box on hold or donate to the Sharehouse in Cortez, Colorado.
Payment by check, cash, paypal and money orders are accepted. You may choose to pay in full or to pay in two installments with the last installment on May 1st. If you need to pay in more installments than two, please reach out to us and we will work out a payment plan.

Picking Up Your CSA Box:
The on-farm pickup in Cahone is on Fridays from 4:30pm to 6pm. Once you sign up for a share we will give you directions to the farm and more details about pickup.
Putting a Box on Hold:
It is easy to manage your account online. If you are going out of town and would like to skip a delivery, you can do so by simply clicking on the calendar day once you are logged into your online account, and select the day you will be away. Then click the HOLD button and choose whether you would like to hold your delivery or donate it. Each member will be permitted a total of three holds per season. All holds must be placed before 6pm on the Tuesday before your pickup. Unfortunately, we can not take last minute cancellations, but you can opt to have a friend pickup your delivery. If you cannot have a friend pick up your delivery, please contact us and ask us to donate your box. In some cases we may be able to arrange a pickup one or two days later on the farm, but this will be on a special case basis.
Acts of Mother Nature/Mechanical Failure:
Please know that our delivery and selection is subject to acts of Mother Nature/Mechanical Failure and can change at any time. We make every effort to provide timely information on cancellation, rescheduling, substitutes etc should this arise. Please note that farming is unpredictable, and items may suddenly become unavailable week to week. We ask for flexibility.
Changing your Order:
If you’d like to add items to your order, make special requests or put your order on hold, changes must be made through CSAware by 6pm on Tuesdays before the pickup.
Through our Local Harvest storefront your payment into our CSA will be a credit that can be treated like a piggy bank. Local Harvest calls it a “Cash Account.” Every week you will choose what you want in your share and use your piggy bank to pay for them. Your credit will roll over to the next season if it is not used. However, if you will not be signing up for the next CSA, you must use your credit before the end of the season.
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information/farm newsletters and updates pertaining to your order.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
